It is highly versatile. With a Ho Mi you can:
- use it to dig holes for seedlings and bulbs
- make rows for seed planting and fill the rows in once the seed is planted
- loosen soil around plants
- dig out weeds

They are recommended for people with arthritic hands. I've had mine for years and have found mine really useful.
