- crops almost all year round with fruit that turns from green to purple to red
- fruit is flesh like capsicum so it is great for homemade chilli sauce
- Also called Rocoto Tree Chilli, Locoto and Manzano

- fruit go from green to red when ripe

- fruit 7cm long and 3cm wide
- grows well in large containers
- bush to 1m
- good for Salsa
Thai Hot Chilli (Capsicum annuum)
- the ideal chilli for cooks of SE Asian food
- produces lots of fruit with thin walls and a spicy flavour
- fruit start green and ripen to red
- Scoville Heat Scale 25000 to 40000 units.
- Good choice for containers as plants are quite compact
